AI Should Not Be the Process

AI can make fragmented work coherent, but that does not mean the underlying process is healthy. This article examines what happens when AI becomes compensatory infrastructure for missing documentation, weak handoffs, fragmented knowledge, and organizational process debt.

What Did the AI Actually Read?

When an AI says it read your document, what did it actually see, retrieve, and use? This essay examines the difference between relevant information and sufficient evidence, and why retrieval, context, and citations can still produce an incomplete understanding of a source.

Demystifying AI Literacy

AI literacy is more than knowing how to prompt or use AI tools. It requires understanding what the system actually knows, how it reaches conclusions, where human judgment still matters, and how to distinguish capability, evidence, authority, and trust.

Stop Asking “Where Can We Use AI?”

AI use cases are not one thing. AI can support individual cognition, help people build systems, perform bounded inference inside deterministic workflows, interpret complex information, or participate in governed multi-step processes. The key is to start with the business need and determine where AI actually adds value, where deterministic systems should remain authoritative, and where the real constraint may be data, integration, process, or infrastructure instead.
